Our History

Apex BrainWare Solutions has it's roots back in 1995 when Dr. Knapp began developing it's first product. Our first product was "BowlesEye Optometric Practice Management Software", which has migrated into "Apex OD Practice Management System". Our founder, Dr. Phillip L. Knapp, has the unique position as an Optometrist, in his own practice in Littleton Colorado, to understand the needs of eye doctors specifically, and small businesses in general.  Our company capitalizes on this skill and experience to develop high quality applications for Optometrists and small business.
